A noble of Ishgardian descent who approached Vaya during one of his many errand trips to the city-state. Upon shaking his drowsiness, Vaya would end up slowly warming up to this Elezen, as they would show unbroken, genuine kindness to him. They became friends fairly easily, and would eventually grow to fall in love. They support and love each other dearly, and struggle being apart most days. They regularly spend time together, and when apart, send loving letters to each other. Vaya values and loves Dreisseaux dearly, and they are a calm, peaceful and delightful presence in his life, one he so needed.
Vikas Deora (father) -
Vaya doesn't hide that Vikas is his favourite parent, as they share an incredibly close bond, not solely for the fact that Vikas bears the family crest by blood. Vikas taught Vaya everything he knew about cooking and how to make his recipes, which Vaya took to heart and honours to this day. He memorised every single of his father's recipes, and cherishes them like gold. He is constantly drowned in his father's affection and care, and loves his father even more for how patiently he handles his own and his wife's neurodivergence.Shrishti Deora (mother) -
Shrishti is who Vaya inherited his autism from, and as such, she was able to help her son out during his formative years, based on her own personal experience. Being her only child, Shrishti nurtures Vaya and always gives him the utmost support through his journeys. She never gave up hope on him when he left Radz-at-Han for so long, absolutely not believing when others said that he was gone forever, or worse, that he was dead. She knew the balance between spoiling and nurturing, and while she poured all her love into raising Vaya, she always made sure that she was realistic to him, and helped him in a way to make him a functional enough member of society.Savar (childhood best friend) - TBAVirat (personal retainer) -
A young Hyur-Ra that just so happened to be Savar's son, who Vaya met at the Ul'dah retainer vocate. Their relationship was initially quite rocky due to Vaya's mental state at the time and his constant, heightened state of aggression. Eventually, after Vaya helped put a stop to the Final Days, he'd mellow out, and could afford to give Virat more to do. He would send Virat on ventures, something the young man always wanted to do. He would diligently do as Vaya was told, and bring him plenty of useful items, the majority of which Vaya would use gratefully. Vaya sees Virat like a little brother figure, and treats him kindly.Somn'essila (friend) -
One of the many Auri children Vaya got to befriend back in Thavnair, and one Vaya had the pleasure of being able to babysit from time to time. Vaya was always taken by her pretty opalescent scales, and while their childhood with each other was fairly short due to travel, they made some fond memories together. They would reunite many years later, all grown up, but while Vaya had clearly changed since his teenage years, he instantly recognised Sila and her scales, and they'd pick up where they left off as if their friendship never ended. Vaya deeply treasures Sila, as well as her husband, Onychomys, whom he also came to befriend.Onychomys (friend) -
An Elezen that Vaya met through Somn'essila, due to him being her husband. The two hit it off almost instantly, upon realising how much the two had in common with them being half Elezen and very big fans of food. They cook together very regularly, and Vaya always invites Ony and Sila over to his home for dinner, and vica versa. Vaya enjoys playfully teasing Ony for being shorter than him, if only by a little, as well as his enormous ears, entirely out of love.Viervich (party member and friend) -
Viervich and Demitus both discovered Vaya while working under Hahli Blair, and without knowing Vaya's history, followed Hahli's orders of attacking the Elezen. Fortunately, Viervich heard Vaya's cries of anguish, and behind Hahli's back, stopped attacking Vaya until he fell, to which he immediately ran to Vaya's side to tend to his injuries. Once Vaya joined the party, Viervich became a pseudo-carer to Vaya until he could stand up for himself. When Vaya took over leadership of the party, Viervich would grow much closer to him as a friend, with the two being intimate a handful of times until Vaya entered the dating pool again. Viervich still looks to Vaya with the utmost respect, and the two are still very close.Demitus (party member and friend) -
Under Hahli Blair's direction, Demitus was initially terrified of Vaya, which further solidified when Vaya recovered and joined the party, showing just how powerful he was. However, when Demitus discovered more about his own past, he mellowed out, and soon, his perception of Vaya started taking a turn for the positive too. When Hahli left the party, Demitus started feeling more comfortable around Vaya, loosening up significantly and becoming one of Vaya's closest fans. It was mostly thanks to Demitus and Viervich that Vaya's disdain for casters soon dissipated.Dmitri (friend) -
A friend of Vaya's who got along with him on the common interest of dance, but also sharing different styles of dance with each other. They regularly chat about their individual styles of combat and performative dancing, and share it with partnered dancing when they have the time. Vaya also helped Dmitri with his confidence issues about his small ears, being a small ear bearer himself, all Vaya could and wanted to do was praise Dmitri, lifting him up as best he could. They often run into each other at social gatherings.Australis (friend) -
An Ishgardian Elezen that Vaya came to befriend, and eventually had some hookups with. He was one of the first Ishgardian-born individuals to truly, consistently be kind to Vaya, respect him, and give him reasons to smile again. The two would regularly hang out and have fun together, whether it be with intimacy or not. Australis is someone Vaya is very comfortable around, and is very thankful for his friendship, as it helped Vaya forget any misery he felt to the world, and helped him smile and enjoy himself again. Since Vaya started dating, he stopped seeing Australis for intimacy, but was grateful for his help with letting go of his past miseries. The two are still good friends to this day.Elaris (friend) -
An Elezen Vaya came to befriend for his relaxed and happy personality, but eventually learning they both had commonality with style and aesthetic, as well as dance. They meet up and chat about fashion and other fabulous topics, and often practice dancing together.

Vayanardi was born to the Deoras, a humble catering and merchant family in Radz-at-Han, Thavnair. With an Elezen mother, Shrishti, and Hyur father, Vikas, his appearance bears traits of both, with the imposing stature of an Elezen, and the supple facial features and tiny ears of a Hyur. Growing up, he wanted to explore Eorzea, and ignoring his parents’ concerns of doing so, he found himself exceptionally lost and far, far away from home. Having ended up in Ul’dah, he sought to make a life for himself and try find his way home.Vaya's conception was long and difficult, and full of complications and sadness, mostly on account for his parents just not being able to conceive at all. 5 years of failed attempts later, Vikas and Shrishti took a trip to Limsa Lominsa, specifically Moraby Bay, to take their minds off the stress. They made it to the stone of Nymeia's mark, and knowing she was a highly regarded deity, prayed to the stone and asked Nymeia for permission to share the sacred space with her. After the trip, minds at ease, the two would return to Radz-at-Han a few days later, where Shrishti would later discover that she was, at last, pregnant. The pregnancy was smooth and while Vayanardi was born a few days overdue, he was a very healthy child. The parents would thank Nymeia over and over, believing that their son's conception was her blessing.Through his entire life, Vayanardi devoted himself to his guardian deity, Nymeia. His devotion was so strong that she bestowed him with spatial visions. These visions gave him ethereal dreams, as well as glimpses of the fates of himself and others – the latter of which he doesn’t tap into. After a deal with some rather shady, robed strangers, his spatial visions manifested physically into his hands, which caused the galactic pattern on both his hands, across his fingers and palms, as well as within his eyes. The visions could now be seen in his hands, and Vaya could see the vast void of space on them. The shady figures, revealing themselves as Ascians, had tempered Vaya, however, were unaware that they had erroneously tempered him not to their deity, but to Nymeia herself. This was all thanks to Vaya's praying during the tempering process, and Nymeia intervening, thus causing his enthrallment to her. The tempering wasn't extreme or feverish, but it would reveal itself through him acknowledging only her when singing his praises, i.e. "thank Nymeia" as opposed to "thank the Twelve". Vaya retained his sanity, but would pray on a regular basis to his deity, lighting up incense in his home and chanting to a marble statuette he had of her. With his continuous worship, Vaya would receive blessings and gifts from his deity. One of the most prominent is form of partial fantasia that is attuned to his mind. With his genderfluid identity came severe bouts of gender dysphoria, and a strong desire for his body to present a certain way. His partial fantasia would sense that change in his mind, and overnight, the appropriate change to his body would take place - this is typically the form of changing his chest, changing his genitalia, or both.In Radz-at-Han, Vayanardi grew up in a small sect of Kama called the 'Aisle of Music', the performance and music hub of the city-state. The collection of suburbs is filled to the brim with bards, dancers, musicians and other festival performers. The area is lively and very renowned for having random street or rooftop performances. Everyone in there has at least two musical or performative talents, with Vaya being a dancer and singer. However, what made Vaya in particular stand out was his very specific form of impromptu dance. His ear for picking up music and a beat meant he could apply dance movements to a song with minimal effort, and maximum grace. He earned the title of 'Golden Spirit' due to the gold costumes he would wear for his performances, and the almost ethereal manner in which he commanded the stage.One day, during a trip to Mor Dhona, the Battle of Carteneau broke out, and in his panic, Vaya took the wrong ship and ended up in Ul'dah instead of Thavnair. He was 26 years old when this happened. In despair, he gave up on trying to find his way home for the time being, and decided to try and make a new life for himself in Ul'dah. He improved in his Eorzean speaking, trying hard to hide his Hannish accent. At the time, he felt like an outsider because he hadn't met another person of Thavnairian origin - that changed when he finally decided to hire himself a retainer, and the name of the retainer he received sounded familiar. Biting the bullet, Vaya greeted this Hyur in Hannish, and in shock, he received a reply in Hannish. This Hyur introduced himself as Virat, and knowing that name, realised that he was the son of Savar, someone Vaya grew up with in Kama.Vaya was unfortunately quite angry and bitter in this period of his life, and took out most of his anger through martial arts in the pugilist's guild. He perfected his craft and graduated to monk, staying far from casting in the process, as at the time, he thought casting and magic was stupid and a “cheap” way to fight.Vayanardi's previous disdain for casters has largely dissipated thanks to working with three Viera casters, Demitus, Hahli and Viervich, for many years. Nowadays he's fine with casters, however acknowledges that he just doesn't understand magic and how magic functions. He still remains close friends with Demitus and Viervich, but has largely distanced himself from Hahli.He loves sparring with fellow pugilists and monks, and is incredibly diligent at following his guildmaster Hamon’s orders. Vaya has a natural affinity towards other Elezen, and will light up when he’s around them, usually becoming a bit more polite and respectful around them.On the outside, Vaya can be quite cold and distant, usually angry at something. He is usually neutral to strangers, but if they get on his bad side, he won't hesitate to show his aggression. Otherwise, if you're kind to him, he'll be kind back. He's very kind and friendly with those closest to him, and is quite affectionate to his romantic partner and closest friends. He has a natural affinity towards other Elezen, and a very obvious bias towards fellow Hannish individuals.If one does manage to win his trust, he softens up significantly. His more vulnerable side is evident, which makes him more easy to fluster and flatter. He is fairly introverted at first, but gets more comfortable when he’s around someone he knows. Romance and romantic gestures can embarrass him very easily, and he is very much a softie around someone he grows to crush on. Sexually, Vaya is predominantly a switch, and his tendencies vary depending on his partner's personality. During his 20s, he slept around a fair but while single, not as much nowadays since passing his 30s. Romantically, he is a lot more exclusive if he finds that special someone, very monogamous and not suited to polyamory. Swinging is a maybe if boundaries are discussed and enough trust is built, but not easily agreed on. Romantic gestures fluster him to no end, and he can become huffy and shy if the flattery is constant.If one does break past his walls and wins his heart, he will be very loving and caring. Having grown his more dominant side, he can comfortably assume the role of the carer and the leader figure, but will also have his more meek and submissive moments too. He can be unpredictable, but once you get to know him, patterns of his will make sense and coincide. He's very protective of those he loves, and is very willing to put his life on the line for whoever has his heart.

- I live in Australia with the AEDT timezone, so while in-game RP is possible, it's not the most comfortable for me if you're looking for a long session. I much prefer written RP through Discord.
- Building off the previous point, I work full time 5 days a week, I'm a busy woman.
- I really value direct and open communication. I want us to be on the same page if we decide to RP.
- I'm autistic, and have trouble deciphering tone most times, so please be forward and direct with me.
- I'm very, VERY selective with who I roleplay Vaya with, and I'd much prefer if a connection between him and your OC was established first. I reserve the right to decline RP, so please don't feel bad, it's not personal.
- Vaya is not me in any way, shape or form, respect him and respect me and my boundaries.
- As of writing this, Vaya is in a committed, monogamous relationship. I will not do romance and sexual roleplays with him if you are not my partner, however, am happy to do other topics as long as they're platonic. Additionally, I will not do romantic/ship AUs with him, nor will he be poly/in an open relationship. It's not the kind of person he is.
